Hydraulic Technician

Daily task involve:

  • Diagnose mechanical & hydraulic issues in pumps, cylinders, motors, valves and related components.
  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild components.
  • Replace seals, bearings, shafts, hoses and other parts as needed.
  • Preform testing & quality checks on repair components.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Document repairs, parts used, and work completed.
  • Assist with general shop duties including equipment maintenance and organization.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical aptitude and strong trouble shooting skills
  • Experience with hydraulic systems is preferred
  • Experience with mechanical repair, heavy equipment, or industrial maintenance is a plus
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
  • Ability to read basic schematics or service manuals
  • Strong attention to detail & quality workmanship
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment

Preferred Experience:

  • Hydraulic cylinder repair
  • Hydraulic pump and motor repair
  • Heavy equipment or agriculture repair
  • Industrial maintenance or diesel mechanic background

Work Environment:

  • Shop based position
  • Hands on mechanical work
  • Lifting and standing for extended amounts of time
