Job Purpose:
To teach Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to secondary and higher secondary students, ensuring strong conceptual understanding, practical skills, and responsible use of technology in line with the prescribed curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach ICT subjects to secondary and higher secondary classes as per the approved syllabus.
  • Deliver theoretical and practical lessons on computer fundamentals, software applications, and emerging technologies.
  • Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and practical lab activities aligned with academic objectives.
  • Conduct computer lab sessions and ensure proper use and care of ICT equipment.
  • Assess and evaluate students through assignments, practical exams, projects, and tests.
  • Prepare students for board examinations and internal assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
  • Integrate technology into teaching and encourage digital literacy and problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure safe, ethical, and responsible use of ICT among students.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school academic activities as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant teaching experience at secondary and/or higher secondary level preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and basic networking.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and common educational software.
  • Good communication, classroom management, and troubleshooting skills.
