ICU Nurse

Job Title: ICU Nurse (Intensive Care Unit)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for continuous patient monitoring, administering treatments, and working closely with doctors and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and record vital signs, neurological status, and patient progress.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and injections as prescribed.
• Operate and monitor ICU equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.
• Assist doctors during emergency procedures, intubations, and resuscitations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Ensure infection control protocols and patient safety standards are followed.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code situations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning.

Required Qualifications:

• B.Sc Nursing / GNM (Diploma) from a recognized institution.
• Valid Nursing Council registration.
• Minimum 1–2 years of ICU experience (freshers with ICU training may also be considered).
• Certification in BLS/ACLS is preferred.

Shift Details:

• Rotational shifts (Day/Night)
• Weekends and holidays as per duty roster
