The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Language Instructor to join our dynamic team at GSL Pakistan. In this role, you will be the key driver of student success, designing and delivering specialized instruction that helps Pakistani learners conquer the IELTS or PTE exam. You are more than just a teacher; you are a coach, a strategist, and a mentor who understands the specific challenges Pakistani students face and provides the expert guidance needed to help them achieve their target scores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery & Instruction:
• Design and implement structured, engaging, and goal-oriented lesson plans that cover all four modules: Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking.
• Deliver expert instruction on test-taking strategies, time management, question analysis, and scoring criteria tailored for both the IELTS and PTE exams.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials (including authentic practice tests, multimedia resources, and interactive activities) to cater to different learning styles common among Pakistani students.
• Student Assessment & Personalized Feedback:
• Conduct initial diagnostic assessments to identify individual student strengths, weaknesses, and learning gaps.
• Provide detailed, constructive, and actionable feedback on student performance, with a strong focus on written essays and spoken responses, areas where Pakistani students often need specific support.
• Track and analyze student progress through regular mock tests and assignments, adjusting teaching strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
• Student Support & Mentorship:
• Act as a mentor and coach, motivating students and building their confidence for the exam. Understand the unique pressures and aspirations of students aiming to study abroad.
• Hold one-on-one or small group sessions to address individual concerns and provide targeted support.
• Foster a positive, professional, and highly productive learning environment that reflects GSL Pakistan's values.
• Contribution to GSL's Mission:
• Work collaboratively with the academic and counseling teams to ensure a seamless student journey from preparation to application.
• Help maintain and enhance GSL Pakistan's reputation for excellence in test preparation and student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• A certified IELTS/PTE Instructor with a minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience specifically in preparing students for these exams.
• A mandatory requirement: You must have personally achieved a high band score in IELTS (8.0 or above) or an equivalent top score in PTE.
• In-depth knowledge of the test formats, scoring criteria, and common challenges faced by Pakistani test-takers.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and student development.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple batches of students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs52,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Islamabad I-8/4: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
