Purpose:
Responsible for leading, planning, and executing marketing, digital communication, and visibility efforts for EFG Foundation. The role oversees social media strategy, event management, video production, brand visibility, and stakeholder communication. act as the primary liaison with EFG Holding’s Group Marketing & Communications Department and external partners to ensure alignment, coverage, and communications that support the Foundation’s mission and impact.
Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management & Digital Content

Manage the execution and moderation of all Foundation social media platforms.

Develop content, captions, and narratives aligned with the Foundation’s tone of voice.

Coordinate with the Marketing & Communications Department on any digital activities related to the Foundation to ensure consistency in messaging and branding. Conceptualize and implement digital campaigns for awareness, engagement, and fundraising.

Brief and manage designers, ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery.

Oversee analytics, performance tracking, and reporting conducted via group marketing department.

Review and monitor all digital marketing activities conducted by the Group Marketing Department, including ad spending, ensuring full alignment with the approved budget.

Maintain and oversee the content calendar.
2. Events Planning & Execution
-
Lead the planning and execution of all Foundation events (economic empowerment, awareness, fundraising, community engagement), including logistics, branding, vendor relations, on-site coordination, and preparation of communication materials, ensuring complete documentation and reporting.
3.Video Production & Storytelling

Develop scripts, storyboards, and messaging for all video formats in line with the Foundation’s brand guidelines.

Oversee production and editing to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and brand guidelines.

Introduce new storytelling formats that enhance impact and visibility and engagement while maintaining brand identity.
4.Marketing Collateral & Giveaways

Oversee the development and production of giveaways for donors, partners, events, and beneficiaries.

Manage design approvals, quality control, procurement, and suppliers.
5.Press Releases, Internal Coordination & Stakeholder Communication

Act as the Foundation’s primary focal point with the Group Marketing Department overseeing all press releases, media, and visibility matters.

Oversee creation of press releases, official statements, and media kits.

Ensure alignment of messaging and branding across all communication channels.
6.Website Management

Oversee the Foundation’s website content, updates, navigation, and structure.

Coordinate with developers and designers for enhancements and ensure information accuracy.
7.Brand Management & Institutional Communications

Ensure adherence to the Foundation’s visual identity and brand guidelines across all materials.

Maintain a comprehensive digital archive of communication assets.

Support production of annual reports, brochures, donor materials, and project profiles.
8.Support development of donor engagement material and fundraising communications.
9.Prepare regular briefs, presentations, and progress reports.
10.Collaborate with program teams to collect content, document impact, and identify storytelling opportunities.
11.Conduct research and benchmarking to strengthen communication strategy.
12.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Foundation Director.
13.Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations as required in the conduct of the role.
14.Ensure timely completion of all relevant AML/CTF training provided by the Group.
15.Ensure response to AML, CTF & sanctions inquiries in a timely manner.
Job Requirements:

Minimum 6–7 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or related fields (experience in foundations, NGOs, or impact-focused organizations is a plus).

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in social media management, digital content creation, and implementing digital campaigns.

Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills in English and Arabic.

Experience in supervising video production and managing communication assets.

Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and their backend publishing tools.

Familiarity with content management systems for updating website content.

Basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator) to coordinate effectively with designers.

Strong coordination and stakeholder-management skills, especially when working with cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Knowledge of social media analytics tools and performance reporting.

High attention to detail, creativity, and strong organizational skills.
