Import Assistant

Optimize Engineering Core Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of appliance parts, is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Import Documentation Assistant to join our Supply Chain Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth import operations and compliance with documentation and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage complete import documentation (BL, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.)
• Coordinate with shipping lines, banks, customs agents, and clearing authorities for documentation and clearance
• Track shipment status and ensure timely follow-up to avoid demurrages or delays
• Liaise with banks for LC documentation and other import-related paperwork
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all import transactions
• Perform field coordination tasks including visits to banks, ports, and customs offices as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in import documentation and logistics coordination
• Familiar with customs clearance procedures, LC handling, and bank documentation
• Must be able to ride a motorcycle with a valid license
• Comfortable with outdoor travel for official tasks
• Preference will be given to candidates residing near Port Qasim
