Import Customer Service Manager (CSM)

Candidates should have at least 5-10 year experience with MTO/IATA certified companies who is capable to perform the below profile.

• Coordinating directly with the Shippers for all nominated shipment Co-coordinating with Overseas office, Customer, Agents for various shipments related issues.

• Handling main corporate customer like ABB/L&T/SIEMENS/INGRAM

• Negotiating rates with Vendors ( Airlines/Shipping lines/Forwarders, Transporters, clearing agents)

• Achieving profit growth by ensuring team members meets their individual targets. Also ensure that goods are moved safely and efficiently on behalf of an exporter.

• Sending Daily Status Report as well as various weekly and Monthly Reports.

• Following up with customers and vendors for KYC ( Know Your Customer ) documents for Air

Export / Import

• Interacting with customers, overseas and airlines for flight details and operational queries for Air Export, Import

• Receiving Pre alerts from Overseas / Agents

• Preparing financial and management reports. Liaising with transport, subcontractors, airline and customers.

• Checking vendor invoices & sending it for Workflow approval

• Pricing – Quoting rates to overseas, nominated customers, sales team & RFQ’s

• Issuance of Invoices / Credit note / Debit note to customers, various vendors, & Origin office.

• Sending CAN.

• Working to tight deadlines and working under pressure on a daily basis.

• Arranging payments as per the fortnight CSR cycle

• Checking all the IATA bills and finalizing with the quote received

• Negotiating with IATA for big tonnage shipment

• Attending weekly Meeting and Sales Meeting & visiting to customers with sales team

• Sending debit notes to agents once the shipment is effected

• Monitoring Air Export / Import department & getting involved in Day -to –Day Activities

• Planning to carry out inductions or training of new personnel. Alternatively, manage the training of new personnel and maintain records.
