Import & Export Operations Executive (Sea & Road Transportation)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Import & Export Operations Executive to join BtoBTurk’s growing logistics team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all international transport operations — both import and export , across sea and road shipments.

This role requires strong coordination skills, a solid understanding of international trade documentation, and proactive communication with our global partners, customers, and agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and monitor import & export shipments (sea and road) from our clients, suppliers, or logistics partners.
• Ensure on-time delivery, customs compliance, and proper documentation throughout all shipment stages.
• Coordinate booking, loading, and documentation processes (B/L, CMR, invoice, packing list, insurance certificates, etc.).
• Communicate proactively with carriers, agents, and customers regarding shipment status and documentation requirements.
• Prepare and issue invoices, pre-alerts, and customs documents in accordance with procedures.
• Manage and track customs clearance processes in collaboration with customs brokers and agents.
• Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and trucking companies.
• Support the accounting department in ensuring accurate cost and billing records.
• Report regularly to the management on shipment progress, delays, or operational challenges.
• Ensure all operational procedures comply with BtoBTurk’s internal standards and international trade regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Logistics, Maritime Business, International Trade, or Transportation Management.
• Minimum 5–8 years of professional experience in international logistics or freight forwarding (import & export operations).
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international trade documentation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced international environment.
• Experience in sea freight and road transport operations is a must.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with logistics management tools or ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and team coordination abilities.
