Job Title: Sr. Import & Logistics Executive

Department: Imports & Logistics

Location: Dubai Industrial City, UAE

Budget: Upto AED 8000

Reports To: General Manager

Job Purpose:

Manage and oversee end-to-end import operations, coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth, timely, and cost-effective delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full import cycle: PO creation, vendor onboarding, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery.
• Prepare costing for imported goods, set margins with management, and provide pricing to sales teams.
• Forecast and plan import orders; monitor stock levels and support sales teams to push slow-moving items.
• Negotiate with shipping companies for competitive freight rates and cost optimization.
• Coordinate with finance for timely payments and accurate documentation.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Track KPIs: lead time, order fulfillment, forecast accuracy, and freight cost savings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce; Certification in Supply Chain (CISCP/CISCM preferred).
• 8–10 years’ experience in imports, logistics, and supply chain management.
• Strong skills in demand planning, cost analysis, freight forwarding, and inventory control.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, and related ERP systems.
