Import Manager

We are seeking an experienced Import Manager to join our company specializing in food trading.

The primary responsibility will be organizing and managing food imports from Russia and the CIS.

Responsibilities will include working with suppliers, logistics companies, and internal company departments to ensure efficient and timely product delivery.

Requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience in import and international logistics

- Deep knowledge and understanding of Incoterms rules and terminology in international trade transactions, import regulations and procedures, customs legislation, and international treaties

- Understanding of the customs clearance process and handling customs documents

- Experience in negotiating with suppliers and logistics companies

- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Ability to analyze data, make decisions, and act under time constraints

- Excellent knowledge of Russian and English (oral and written)

Responsibilities:

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, delivery terms, and contracts

- Organizing logistics processes, including selecting optimal delivery routes, monitoring the transportation of goods, and resolving any issues that arise

- Coordinating and preparing customs documents, complying with customs regulations and requirements

- Monitoring and controlling deliveries, promptly informing all stakeholders about the status of orders

- Participating in the development and Optimization of import strategies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs

- Market analysis, research into new supply opportunities, and search for new suppliers.
