Job Title: Import Officer (Imports & Banking Operations)

Job Summary
We are looking a detail-oriented and experienced Import Officer to manage and oversee our all import related activities, ensuring timely clearance of shipments and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of international trade procedures, documentation, and coordination with banks, suppliers, and logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complete import cycle from order placement to final delivery including documentation, shipment tracking and clearance
Coordinate with international suppliers and freight forwarders
Liaise with banks for DA, DP, Advance Payment and LC opening matters
Handle import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, etc..)
Monitor shipments schedules and resolve any delays or issues
Banking & Financial Coordination:
Handle LC, Bank Contracts, DA, DP and Advance Payment documentation
Coordinate with banks for import documents and foreign remittance matters
Monitor payment schedules and ensure timely processing
Maintain records of all banking transactions related to imports
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
5–7 years of working experience in import operations and banking coordination
Strong knowledge of import procedures and trade documentation
Experience dealing with banks for Import and Foreign Remittance matters
Good communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
