Qualifications:
BSc Chemistry / MSc Chemistry (Preferably from a recognized university).
Core Responsibilities
- Define and establish quality specifications and standards based on regulatory, customer, and internal requirements.
- Develop, revise, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, inspection plans, and quality manuals.
- Perform in‑process inspections, final product inspections, and sampling plans to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Oversee or perform laboratory/analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products where applicable.
- Monitor key quality indicators (defect rates, audit findings, customer complaints, non‑conformances).
- Integrated Management System (IMS) Implementation: Support the implementation and enforcement of the combined policies and procedures for quality, health & safety, and environmental management systems.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure the organization adheres to its internal standards, international guidelines (like ISO), and regulatory requirements.
- Internal Audits: Plan, conduct, and document internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of processes and systems.
- Data Management and Reporting: Maintain databases for the quality system, track quality performance metrics, and prepare reports on findings and trends to senior management.
- Quality Events Management: Report, investigate, and facilitate the resolution of quality-related incidents, queries, and complaints.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement within the integrated system, focusing on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Documentation: Ensure all operational activities are documented, controlled, and aligned with company policies and standards.
