Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness.
• Administer medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
• Support clients in light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments or errands.
• Monitor clients’ health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Follow care plans meticulously while maintaining a respectful and positive relationship with clients.
• Document care provided accurately and maintain detailed records of client interactions and observations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for each caregiver.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect empathetically with diverse individuals.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently; experience with emergency medicine is a plus.
• Knowledge of geriatrics, medical-surgical care, or post-acute care environments is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 40.0 per week
