In Home Caregiver

Job Summary

* Hours available in McMinnville, Newberg, Dallas, Philomath. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings, including group homes and home care, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors. As an HCA, you will play a vital role in delivering direct support, monitoring patient health, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. We take pride in providing support to our local veterans who require in-home care assistance, enabling them and other seniors to in our community to remain safely in their own home and maintain independence for as long as possible.

Duties

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support daily living activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and transportation.
• Engage with clients through meaningful conversation and companionship.
• Document patient progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients while adhering to health and safety protocols.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving, particularly in senior care settings is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• A compassionate approach to caregiving with a focus on enhancing the well-being of those you serve.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour
