IN-HOME CAREGIVER MILFORD

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver in Milford, DE for full-time and part-time positions. Hiring immediately and applications are reviewed daily. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings and be committed to enhancing clients’ quality of life by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Please note that working every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and every other holiday is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Ability to travel between clients within Milford and nearby areas.
• Ability to work independently while following care plans and instructions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping others.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening as required by Delaware state regulations.
• Valid Delaware driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance meeting Delaware state requirements.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

Expected hours:

Part-time: 8–24 hours per week

Full-time: 30–40 hours per week
