In Home Caregiver/Personal Assistant

Sunny Days is seeking home care aides to work in a private home setting providing supports to the elderly and individuals with disabilities. Schedule can be flexible, as needed for client.

Job responsibilities include:

· Making and maintaining relationships with clients and their families. Help them build a sense of trust and comfort with their care team.

· Assist with activities of daily living, including ambulation and seating transfers.

· Assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene.

· Assist with household chores such as cleaning, cooking, and meal preparation.

· Provide reminders for client to take medications or complete prescribed exercises. Staff cannot administer medications but can assist in opening containers or reading labels if needed.

· Transporting clients to and from appointments, shopping, events, etc. Run errands for clients such as picking up groceries or prescriptions.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be 18 years or older, possess a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation that can be used for work, and will be able to pass a drug screening and criminal history background check.
