Responsibilities

• Provide attentive childcare for a toddler
• Can assist in child's nutritional needs if comfortable
• Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, and age-appropriate teaching moments
• Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light housekeeping tasks related to children’s belongings and play areas
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
• Support children with daily routines such as, diaper changes, clothing changes, and cleaning up

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in a nannying, babysitting, daycare, or teaching capacity
• Knowledge of infant care, toddler care, preschool activities, and early childhood development principles
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
• Ability to perform light cleaning tasks related to childcare areas and children's belongings
• Compassionate caregiver with patience and excellent communication skills
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Flexibility to work part-time hours in a home setting with a positive, energetic attitude
