In-Home Personal Care Aide/Caregiver - PCA(Flexible Hours & Local Travel)

Job Overview:

As a Personal Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance. Your compassionate support will empower clients to maintain their independence while receiving the care they deserve. You’ll engage with clients at their home and providing essential services that promote comfort and well-being.

What you’ll do:

  • Follow client care plans and deliver personalized in-home services.
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):

- Bathing

- Dressing

- Toileting

- Grooming

- Mobility support

  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Perform light housekeeping, meal prep, and medication reminders.
  • Communicate changes in condition or concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Accurately document care provided and maintain compliance with Carolina Home Care Services's standards of operations.
  • Be proactive and professional in every client interaction.
  • Submit and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Communicate with supervisor and co-workers.
  • Ensure services are consistently delivered according to the service plan and document.

Work Location:

  • IndianLand
  • Fort Mill
  • Rock Hill
  • York/Lancaster/Chester Counties in South Carolina

Basic qualifications:

  • Experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing or social work is preferred.
  • Comfortable with hands-on care including bathing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel locally (York/Lancaster/Chester Counties in SC).
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient in English and capable of using basic web/mobile tools.
  • Must pass background screening and complete required trainings
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred qualifications(Not Mandatory):

  • Long Term Care Experience.
  • Experience with hospice, dementia, or other specialty care.

Job Type: Part-time
