In-House Counsel: Long- Skilled Nursing and Senior Living Operations

In this role, the In-House Counsel will play a key legal role in supporting the company’s transactional and operational activities across a multi-state portfolio of skilled nursing and senior living facilities. Reporting to the executive team, this individual will be responsible for managing legal matters related to acquisitions, divestitures, entity formation, and facility transitions. The role also includes supporting regulatory compliance, trust formation, and employment law matters as needed. This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented, business-minded attorney with strong transactional experience and a working knowledge of healthcare operations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare law, with a foucs on corporate transactions, M&A, and entity structuring.
• Familiarity with long-term care operations, healthcare licensing, and regulatory compliance
• Working knowledge of employment law across multiple states (preferred)
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing organization
• Previous expereince in an in-house or healthcare specific law firm role preferred.
