In House Digital Marketing & Social Media Content Manager

Copper Mill Mercantile is one of the fastest-growing antique and boutique vendor marketplaces in North Carolina, with multiple locations spread out over multiple states bringing together hundreds of vendors and thousands of unique items under one roof.

Our stores feature antiques, boutique clothing, vintage décor, handmade goods, collectibles, and one-of-a-kind finds. With multiple locations and thousands of customers visiting each week, we are continuing to grow our brand and digital presence.

We are looking for a Digital Marketing & Social Media Content Manager who can elevate our online presence through professional content creation, strategic marketing, and strong understanding of modern social media platforms.

This is a hands-on, in-person position in Greenville, NC.

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing & Social Media Content Manager will oversee Copper Mill’s online presence across social media platforms and our website. This role combines creative content production with strategic digital marketing to increase brand awareness, grow followers, and drive customer traffic to our stores.

The ideal candidate understands how social media algorithms work, how to create trending content, and how to grow audiences through strategic posting, hashtags, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow all of Copper Mill Mercantile social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Create professional videos, reels, and promotional content
• Film and highlight vendors, merchandise, and unique items throughout the store
• Plan and execute strategic content calendars and posting schedules
• Identify trending topics, hashtags, and content styles to increase reach and engagement
• Understand platform algorithms and optimize content for maximum visibility
• Monitor analytics and engagement metrics to continually improve performance
• Manage and update website content including promotions, events, and vendor features
• Maintain consistent branding across all digital platforms
• Stay current on digital marketing trends and emerging social media tools

Qualifications

• Experience managing social media for a business or brand
• Strong video creation and editing skills
• Understanding of social media algorithms, hashtags, and engagement strategies
• Experience planning and scheduling content for optimal reach
• Basic website management experience (WordPress, Wix, Shopify or similar)
• Creative mindset with strong storytelling ability
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects

Preferred Skills

• Video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut)
• Graphic design tools (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)
• Experience growing social media audiences
• Knowledge of social media advertising
• Photography or videography experience

Location

Greenville, North Carolina with a possibility of occasionally traveling to our other locations. (In-person position)

Compensation: Competitive and based on experience.
