A leading company in the retail industry is looking for an experienced
In-House Real Estate Lawyer
to support its operations across the country. The position will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal guidance on real estate law, lease law, contracts, law of obligations, and commercial law, and is expected to be able to provide opinions to business units in these areas, prepare and finalize their contracts, and manage all related meetings.
Qualifications & Experience

Holds a degree in Law from a reputable university.

8–10 years of proven legal experience, ideally within the
retail sector
.

In-depth knowledge of

Key Responsibilities

Real Estate & Leasing:
Oversee all legal aspects of lease transactions, particularly related to retail locations (including shopping centers). Draft, review, and ensure compliance of lease agreements for both existing and new stores.

Commercial Contracts:
Prepare, draft, and negotiate a wide range of business contracts in line with company objectives.

Regulatory Compliance:
Monitor legal developments relevant to the retail sector and ensure internal stakeholders are informed of applicable regulatory changes.

Risk Management:
Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic legal advice to management for proactive decision-making.

Litigation:
Handle and coordinate litigation processes and represent the company before courts and administrative bodies when necessary.

Internal Collaboration:
Build and sustain strong working relationships with internal business units to support their specific legal needs.

Archiving:
Manage the organization and maintenance of legal documentation and contract archives.
