Income Auditor

To audit all daily income that has been received by the hotel and to ensure that all the revenues are correctly and completely recorded in the system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· To be responsible for all daily income of the hotel.

· To review and ensure all the rebates and allowances are correctly passed with necessary approvals as per the policies and procedures.

· To make sure of taxes and any other fees reconciliation on the revenue as per country’s law.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

· To discharge the duties in an effective and efficient manner.

· To liaise with Night Auditor on all matters pertaining to the night audit functions.

· To be aware of applicable taxes and fees on the revenue as per the country’s law.

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

· To review and verify all the revenue generated by the hotel on daily basis in coordination with night auditor.

· To verify the Night Audit checklist with the Night Auditor.

· To ensure timely release of daily revenue report to the management.

· To ensure serial control of the folios, check and forms that have been used for daily operation.

· To ensure there are no rooms without payment guarantee.

· To follow up for high balances room (if any) on daily basis.

· To verify the Guest Ledger balances for each room are tallied with its report and General Ledger.

· To verify the Deposit Ledger balances for each room are tallied with its report and General Ledger.

· To verify the allowance, discounts, and rebates (if any) that have been applied.

· To maintain a register for statistical data.

· Random checks during the peak hours of the operation.

REPORTING

· Directly reporting to Chief Accountant.

· Closely working with the Night Auditor, Account Receivable, and General Cashier.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

· To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other duties requested by the management.
