Independent Insurance Adjuster (1099)

Job description:

RDCL Services is seeking independent and detail-oriented 1099 Independent Insurance Adjuster to support our projects in Memphis, TN and the surrounding area. This contract role involves conducting on-site surveys and photographing and documenting damage on residential homes. The ideal contractor is comfortable working in diverse environments, has strong attention to detail, and can communicate effectively with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site surveys to collect photographs and document damage related to residential insurance claims
• Collaborate with project managers to provide survey results.
• Utilize specialized tools and software for efficient data collection.
• Adhere to safety protocols and project guidelines while on-site.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in claims adjusting, construction, or a related field is required
• Ability to work independently and travel to various job sites.
• Ability and willingness to get on residential rooftops to document roof damage
• Must have a minimum 24' ladder, smart phone, and reliable transportation
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry necessary equipment.

Contract Details:

• Compensation: $100 per assessment (plus travel if applicable)
