Indirect Matearial Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities

Actively participate in procurement processes and execute purchasing activities in line with established procedures and guidelines.

Conduct market research for purchasing requests, identify suitable suppliers, and obtain competitive price quotations.

Manage relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration.

Oversee monthly price calculations and ensure accurate entry of pricing data into the system.

Monitor contract durations and ensure timely renewal of expiring agreements.

Identify potential suppliers and explore alternative sourcing options to optimize procurement strategies.

Analyze costs and pricing structures to support informed procurement decisions.

Develop and propose business ideas and projects aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain functions.

Proficient in MS Office applications (especially Excel); experience with SAP and other ERP systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.

Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering effective solutions.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.

Well-developed planning, follow-up, and multitasking skills.

Strong conflict management abilities and adaptability to change in a dynamic environment.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.

Proficient in written and spoken English.
