Industrial Design Engineer

As we continue to expand our product portfolio, we are seeking a passionate and innovative Industrial Designer to join our dynamic team.

This role is central to shaping the design vision of our dialysis systems. The successful candidate will create products that not only meet functional and regulatory requirements but also enhance the experience of patients, caregivers, clinics, and healthcare providers who interact with our systems.

Role Overview

The Industrial Designer will leverage design expertise to develop patient-centered medical products that balance usability, aesthetics, and manufacturability. The designer’s contributions will directly influence how our technology is perceived and experienced, ensuring that Byonyks products resonate with end users and reflect our commitment to quality, empathy, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and analyze competitive products and market trends to inform design decisions.
• Develop, refine, and iterate design concepts, prototypes, and specifications for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Clinical, and Marketing, to deliver cohesive and functional product solutions.
• Prepare detailed design documentation, visualizations, and presentations to communicate ideas effectively to stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, materials, and manufacturing techniques to drive innovative design outcomes.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to elevate design quality across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in product or industrial design, supported by a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and KeyShot.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Industrial Design.
• Experience in designing medical devices or electronic consumer products.
• Experience in designing domestic appliances and white goods (e.g., kitchen appliances, home-use equipment, consumer hardware) with an understanding of ergonomics, durability, and mass-manufacturing constraints.
• Familiarity with user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.

Technical Competencies

• Advanced CAD expertise for 3D modeling and visualization.
• Ability to create detailed technical drawings and design specifications.
• Knowledge of usability testing methodologies and integration of user feedback into design iterations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
