Experienced Mechanic / Industrial Mechanic

We are currently seeking an Experienced Mechanic/Industrial Mechanic to join our team, specializing in the repair and rebuild of pumps, electric motors, and blowers.
The ideal candidate will have proven, hands-on mechanical experience rebuilding a variety of machinery. We are searching for an independent, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is open to learning. This position provides practical training and the chance to build strong mechanical skills.

Candidates with relevant mechanical background may be considered for training, including lathe operation and 3-phase 240/480V motor testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on pumps and motors.
• Work independently to assess repair needs and provide effective solutions.
• Generate work-order quotes based on customer requirements.
• Research and develop repair solutions for various pump and motor systems.
• Communicate with vendors and trade engineers to source parts and obtain technical support.
• Interact with customers regarding orders, job updates, and service inquiries.
• Work collaboratively on in-house and on-site motor/pump removals and installations.

Knowledge and Skills

• We are seeking qualified and experienced mechanics. Only applicants with proven mechanical hands-on experience will be considered (i.e. automotive, industrial, pump mechanics, manual lathe machinist)
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Ability to operate manual lathes.
• Skilled in disassembling and assembling electro-mechanical machinery with attention to detail.
• Ability to assess mechanical failures and recommend solutions.
• Knowledge of parts procurement and vendor communication.
• Strong communication skills for customer and internal coordination.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Availability for overtime as needed.

Relevant Work Experience

Experience in any of the following fields is beneficial:

• Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, Electrician, Machinist, Control Troubleshooting
• Rigging and Customer Service
• Pump and motor repair (preferred)
• 3-Phase 240/480V systems (preferred)
• Manual lathe operation
• Laser alignment and vibration testing (a plus)
