The Industrial Relations Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining harmonious industrial relations across manufacturing units. The role involves handling labor unions, statutory compliance, negotiations, dispute resolution, and ensuring smooth plant operations in line with labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities

Manage
end-to-end industrial relations
activities in pharmaceutical manufacturing units.

Handle
labor unions
, negotiations, settlements, and long-term agreements.

Lead
collective bargaining
, wage negotiations, and grievance redressal mechanisms.

Ensure
100% statutory compliance
with labor laws including:

Industrial Disputes Act

Factories Act

Contract Labour Act

Shops & Establishments Act

PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Wages Act

Liaise with
government labor authorities
, inspectors, and regulatory bodies.

Handle
disciplinary actions
, domestic enquiries, suspensions, and terminations as per law.

Manage
contract labor
, vendor compliance, and manpower deployment.

Prevent and resolve
industrial disputes, strikes, lockouts
, and work stoppages.

Advise management on
IR risk mitigation
and workforce strategies.

plant leadership
during expansions, restructuring, and policy changes.

Maintain strong coordination with
HR, Legal, and Operations
teams.
