Infant and Toddler Room Teacher

About Us:

Ms. C & T’s Learning Place is a play base and educational daycare facility. It is our mission to provide quality care for children and families in the Saginaw area. Our learning program exists to provide infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children with an environment where he or she can feel empowered, safe and loved.

Responsibilities:

Child Care: Provide direct care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.

Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.

Curriculum Development: Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans

Staff Supervision: Oversee and mentor assistant teacher.

Parent Communication: Establish positive relationships with parents and communicate effectively regarding their child's progress and development.

Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Course work in Early Childhood Education, Child development or child- related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience working with infants in a childcare setting.
• Certifications: CPR is not required upon employment but preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as a leader in the classroom.
