Infant Teacher

Kiddie Academy of Fleming Island is looking for a caring and dependable Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position focuses on providing nurturing care, supporting early developmental milestones, and creating a safe and engaging environment for infants.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and supervision for infants in a classroom environment
• Follow daily routines including feeding, diapering, and nap schedules
• Plan and implement simple, developmentally appropriate activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
• Communicate with families regarding children's daily activities and needs
• Follow Kiddie Academy curriculum guidelines and classroom procedures
• Ensure compliance with Florida DCF licensing and safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and school leadership

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• CDA (Child Development Associate) highly preferred
• Experience working in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education preferred
• Must meet Florida DCF training requirements for childcare personnel
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain active throughout the workday
• Reliable, patient, and able to work well in a team environment

Schedule

Full-time position
Monday – Friday
8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM
