Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development for infants.
• Provide attentive care that meets each infant’s individual needs, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and health monitoring.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Observe and document developmental milestones to inform personalized care plans and communicate progress with parents or guardians.
• Foster positive behavior management strategies to support emotional regulation and social skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent caregiving practices and classroom management.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing regulations related to infant care and early childhood education.

Experience

• Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or nannying setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants is essential.
• Experience with classroom management techniques that support young children’s needs.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to provide nurturing caregiving while maintaining a structured environment.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies tailored for infants and toddlers.
• Previous experience in childcare roles such as babysitting or nannying is beneficial but not mandatory.
