Infant Teacher

Job Summary
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Teacher, where your passion for nurturing and educating the youngest learners will make a meaningful impact. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants, supporting their growth through attentive caregiving and innovative teaching strategies. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development and stimulate curiosity in infants
  • Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring overall well-being of infants in your care
  • Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones, behaviors, and individual needs to tailor activities accordingly
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
  • Collaborate with families to communicate daily updates on their child's progress and address any concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering positive behavior management techniques
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols and emergency procedures

Experience

  • Prior experience working with infants in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is highly preferred (Montessori experience a plus).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers
  • Experience in classroom management within early childhood education environments
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required.
  • Familiarity with behavior management strategies tailored to infants and young children
  • Proven ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members in a nurturing and professional manner

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
