Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including motor skills, language acquisition, and social-emotional growth.
  • Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring safety at all times.
  • Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform ongoing care plans.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular updates on their child's development and daily experiences.
  • Manage classroom routines effectively to foster a structured yet flexible environment conducive to infants’ needs.
  • Follow all licensing regulations and safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure setting for every child.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.
  • Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, parents, and caregivers to support each child's growth.

  • CDA / AA Degree / 90 hours / ADA / 9 HR communication
  • At least one year experience working with infants

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
