Infant Teacher

Overview
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will shape the foundation for lifelong learning. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging, and safe environment tailored to infants’ developmental needs. Your expertise will inspire curiosity, foster social-emotional growth, and support families in their childcare journey.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, physical, and emotional development of infants
  • Provide attentive care, ensuring safety, comfort, and personalized attention for each child
  • Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns
  • Incorporate early intervention techniques and strategies to support children with diverse needs
  • Conduct assessments and maintain detailed documentation on childhood development and learning outcomes
  • Engage in lesson planning that integrates literacy education, physical activities, and social skills development
  • Support classroom routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with health standards
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to foster positive behavior and emotional regulation among infants

Qualifications

  • Prior classroom experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education standards
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
  • Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention strategies is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and team members
  • Ability to implement Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus
  • Passion for working with children and dedication to fostering a safe, nurturing environment

Pay: From $39,000.00 per year
