Infant Teacher

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of infants.
• Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and ensuring safety at all times.
• Observe and document each child's developmental milestones to tailor care plans effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and milestones.
• Support classroom management by fostering positive behavior and encouraging social interactions among infants.
• Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support early childhood education standards and individual needs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility is REQUIRED.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively while providing nurturing care.
• Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members professionally.
• Experience with behavior management techniques suitable for infants is desirable.
