Infant Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are looking for full-time teachers for our Infant/Nursery Class, who is responsible for creating and delivering engaging educational activities to students aged 6 weeks to 17 months, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and promoting the intellectual and social development of students. The infant teacher will plan, implement, and assess lessons, while also collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the community to support the daycare’s educational objectives. Our center is operational from Monday to Friday from 6:00 am - 6:00 pm.

As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for:

● Curriculum Development: Create lesson plans and activities that align with the developmental needs of the class.

● Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a safe and organized classroom environment. Assist in diaper changing and potty training. Manage behavior and promote positive interactions among children.

● Assessment: Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing feedback to parents and adapting teaching strategies as needed.

● Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians. Share information about a child's day, progress, and any concerns.

● Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of the children. Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care and development topics.

● Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, following established protocols and procedures. Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for infant teacher will have:

● A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a high school diploma, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.

● 3 years of experience working with young kids or childcare setting.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families.

● Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education.

● Ability to adapt to changing situations and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

● A passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
