Infant Toddler Teacher

Montessori Children’s School House (MCSH) is one of the few authentic Montessori schools in Lake Forest, California, dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing and respectful environment. We are currently seeking a caring, responsible, and experienced Infant Teacher to join our exceptional team.

Position Overview

The Infant Teacher will be responsible for providing attentive, safe, and developmentally appropriate care for infants while supporting a well-organized Montessori classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for infants
• Prepare bottles and assist with feeding routines
• Perform diaper changing and maintain proper hygiene standards
• Maintain accurate daily logs and infant daily sheets
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly classroom
• Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities aligned with Montessori principles
• Communicate effectively with team members and families

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler certification or equivalent (minimum 12 ECE units required)
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an infant classroom or similar setting
• Strong sense of responsibility, patience, and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
