Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes growth, exploration, and learning. As a Lead Teacher, you will serve as a positive role model and work closely with families to support each child's unique developmental journey. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute dynamic lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards, incorporating curriculum development principles such as literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and supports toddler care best practices.
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth classroom management and behavior management strategies are in place to foster positive social interactions.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, milestones, and any special education or early intervention needs.
- Implement individualized learning strategies for children requiring additional support in areas like childhood development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of developmental assessments and lesson plans to track progress and inform instruction.
- Work with co- teacher and support staff, providing mentorship in classroom management, teaching techniques, and child welfare practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, specifically with infants and toddlers.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development including literacy education, math concepts, physical education.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate age-appropriate activities for toddlers while adhering to state licensing requirements. Prior classroom experience in daycare or preschool environments.

Pay: $11.15 - $14.00 per hour
