Infant/Toddler/ Pre-K Teacher

We are seeking caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K Teachers who are passionate about early childhood education and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young children.

This position is ideal for experienced childcare professionals as well as individuals looking to grow their career in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment for children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom.
• Supervise children at all times while following Louisiana childcare licensing regulations and safety procedures.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
• Complete daily reports and classroom documentation.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding each child’s progress and daily activities.
• Work collaboratively with the Director and teaching team to provide high-quality childcare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDA Credential, Early Childhood Education coursework, or previous childcare experience preferred.
• Experience working in a daycare, childcare center, preschool, Head Start, or early learning program is a plus.
• Must be able to pass all required background checks.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Dependable, patient, professional, and passionate about working with children.
