Infant/Toddler Teacher

Good Shepherd Child Development Center seeks faith-filled early childhood professionals who desire to provide an atmosphere of safety, love, acceptance, discovery, and exploration. Our teachers will plan and implement age-appropriate activities that work to intentionally improve all five areas of a child's development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with children in a child care setting.
• Provide good communication skills with both young children and adults.
• Educational requirements include High School diploma or equivalent.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is a plus.
• Coursework in early childhood education is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in education/early childhood education is a plus!

RESPONSIBILIITES:

• Plan, supervise and implement curriculum
• Create a caring and positive environment
• Follow classroom daily schedules
• Provide excellent communication to families, coworkers and children
• Ensure health and safety of the children at all times.
