Infant/Toddler Teacher

Job Summary
Join our early childhood education team as an Infant/Toddler Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging environment tailored to the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. Your energetic approach and dedication will inspire curiosity, foster social-emotional growth, and support early literacy and cognitive skills. This paid position offers a opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our youngest learners while developing your experience in childhood development and classroom management.We also offer free childcare for first child and 1/2 price childcare for any additional children.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, math skills, and social-emotional growth for infants and toddlers
  • Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management
  • Engage in hands-on activities that support physical development, sensory exploration, and early intervention strategies
  • Monitor individual progress through observations and assessments aligned with childhood development milestones
  • Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, share insights on developmental needs, and support ongoing learning at home
  • Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities, behavioral patterns, and developmental achievements
  • Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions to ensure a structured yet flexible day

Skills

  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development tailored for infants and toddlers
  • Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings; familiarity with Montessori or other specialized educational approaches is a plus
  • Ability to implement behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being
  • Skilled in classroom management, lesson planning, and creating engaging activities that foster physical and cognitive development
  • Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention strategies, and child welfare practices
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners
  • Proficiency in using standardized testing tools or assessments to monitor developmental progress and inform instruction
