Lead Infant Room Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Experienced Lead Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing engaging educational activities while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
  • Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique learning needs and developmental milestones.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage appropriate conduct.
  • Engage children in play-based learning activities that promote creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to child development and education.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning and exploration.

Skills

  • Strong background in early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Experience in childcare or caregiving settings, particularly with infants and toddlers.
  • Proficient in behavior management strategies to create a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Excellent classroom management skills to maintain an orderly learning environment.
  • Ability to educate children effectively through engaging activities tailored to their developmental levels.
  • Familiarity with working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
