Infant/Toddler Teacher

In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging environment tailored to infants and toddlers, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional learning.
  • Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence for infants and toddlers.
  • Manage daily routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and play activities with patience and professionalism.
  • Apply behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and emotional regulation among young children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum that integrates educational philosophies suited for early learners.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development.
  • Maintain accurate records of classroom activities

Minimum Requirements:

-12 ECE units of Early Childhood Education:

1. Child Devlopment

2.Child Development Community and Family

3. Preschool Curriculum or Principles and Practices

4. Any other E.C.E core units

In addition, 3 units of any Infant/Toddler course

-Larson's Infant Center is required to run a criminal background check- post job offer

Qualifications:

-Caring, nurturing and warmth when interacting with babies

-Reliable, punctual and responsible as an employee

-Ability to work as a team with teachers and teacher's assistants

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
