Infant/Toddler Teacher, M-F, Full- Time

An early childhood teacher's job description involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children. This includes planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, observing and assessing children's development, communicating with parents, and ensuring the well-being of all students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development and Implementation:. Plan and deliver lessons and activities that cater to the developmental needs of young children, focusing on areas like cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
  • Classroom Management:. Establish routines, maintain a clean and organized learning environment, and ensure the safety and supervision of all children.
  • Child Observation and Assessment:. Observe children's individual progress, interests, and behaviors, and communicate this information to parents and other staff.
  • Parent Communication: Maintain open communication with parents, providing updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns.
  • Positive Guidance and Discipline: Implement positive discipline strategies that promote a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Collaborating with Staff: Work with other educators, specialists, and administrators to support children's learning and development.

Qualifications for Early Childhood Teacher

  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • 18 Years of age (Required)
  • CDA (Child Development Credential) (Perferred) Must obtain within 6 months of hire

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
