Infection Control Nurse

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• KNMC registration mandatory.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) highly desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in hospital settings.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control standards and guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement infection prevention and control protocols.
• Provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection control practices.
• Investigate and analyze infection outbreaks and events, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to infection control.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of infection control activities and Outcomes.
