INFECTION CONTROL NURSE REQUIRED

Location: Bahrain

We are seeking a qualified Infection Control Nurse to develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control practices within the healthcare facility to ensure patient and staff safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
• Monitor and investigate healthcare-associated infections (HAIs)
• Conduct regular infection control audits and inspections
• Educate healthcare staff on infection prevention practices
• Ensure compliance with local and international health regulations
• Oversee sterilization, disinfection, and waste management processes
• Prepare reports and maintain infection control records
• Respond to and manage infection outbreaks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing) or equivalent
• Valid nursing license / registration
• Certification or training in Infection Control (preferred)
• Knowledge of infection prevention guidelines such as World Health Organization standards

Experience & Skills

• 3–5 years of nursing experience, with focus on infection control
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention protocols
• Excellent observation, analytical, and reporting skills
• Good communication and training abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to enforce compliance
