Informatics Coordinator

Description:

The Informatics Coordinator supports the effective operation, maintenance, and optimization of clinical and business information systems across the organization. This role is responsible for coordinating user access, supporting EMR and data systems, maintaining data integrity, and assisting with reporting and troubleshooting activities. The Informatics Coordinator serves as a key operational link between Informatics, IT, and internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate system configuration, timely support, and reliable data processes across platforms including EMR systems, Microsoft applications, and other business tools. This position reports to the Informatics Project Manager.

Key Results Area

*Manage user setup processes for new hires, role changes, and terminations across all clinical and business systems

*Ensure accurate configuration of system access, permissions, and credentials across EMR, Microsoft platforms, and other data systems

*Assist users with systems navigation and basic functionality questions

  • Generate, validate, and distribute routine and ad hoc reports to internal teams and leadership
  • Assist in managing data exports and ensuring timely delivery of reporting outputs
  • Identify and communicate data discrepancies or inconsistencies
  • Partner with Informatics, IT, Operations, and other departments to support system functionality and data needs
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth system transitions, activations, and updates
  • Support the maintenance and daily operations of clinical information systems, including Net Health and other EMRs
  • Document workflows, procedures, and system processes to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, accuracy, and user experience
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Informatics function
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and strong working relationships across teams
  • Evaluate and assess personal performance on a routine basis

Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in informatics, data coordination, healthcare systems, or related technical support role preferred (experience with Net Health administration systems highly preferred)

*Advanced Microsoft Office Excel, with aptitude to learn new programs
