A-Better Heat & Air Conditioning is a leading Oklahoma-based HVAC contractor with over 40 years of experience providing exceptional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions. We specialise in everything from central air conditioning units to ductless mini-splits and pride ourselves on our team of certified technicians and our commitment to quality. We are currently seeking a meticulous and organised Information Entry Clerk to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of our company data, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a structured environment and is eager to contribute to a well-established company.



**Responsibilities**


As an Information Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to our daily operations. Your primary duties will include:

* Accurately inputting and updating customer information, service records, and technician work orders into our company database.

* Verifying the accuracy and completeness of all data entered, correcting any discrepancies as needed.

* Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information.

* Assisting with the generation of regular reports for management.

* Organising and maintaining digital and physical files to ensure they are easily accessible.

* Liaising with technicians and other administrative staff to gather necessary information.

* Performing other administrative duties as required to support the office team.



**Qualifications**


We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following skills and qualifications:

* Proven experience in a data entry, information entry, or similar administrative role.

* Exceptional typing speed and a high degree of accuracy.

* Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.

* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also collaboratively as part of a team.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.

* Familiarity with the HVAC or a related service industry is advantageous but not essential.
