Ensure secure, reliable, and well-documented IT services for staff.

Service Desk (L1/L2) & Customer Support

  • Triage tickets, resolve incidents/requests (email setup, Teams issues, printing, VPN, Wi-Fi, application installs).
  • Remote support via Quick Assist/Teams/ScreenShare; clear, friendly communication with non-technical users.
  • Escalate complex cases (L3, vendor) with well-documented steps already taken.

Network & Access (Foundational)

  • Basic switch/Wi-Fi troubleshooting (link issues, VLAN/Wi-Fi SSID, DHCP/DNS basics).

  • Monitor internet connectivity; coordinate ISP/router/firewall vendors for outages/changes.

Security Hygiene

  • Enforce patching cadence (OS & apps), AV/EDR health, disk encryption, screensaver/lock policies.

Backup & Data Protection

  • Ensure endpoint backups (where applicable) and OneDrive/SharePoint retention policies are active and verified.
  • Assist with file restores and version recovery; document RPO/RTO expectations for critical shares.

Documentation & Process

  • Maintain IT runbooks, setup checklists, troubleshooting guides, and user FAQs.
  • Keep diagrams/simple inventories up to date (network, SaaS, license counts).
  • Log changes (who/what/when/why) in a lightweight change note or ticket.

Vendor & License Administration

  • Track M365 license consumption/costs; reclaim unused seats.
  • Coordinate warranties/repairs (OEM) and consumables (toner, peripherals).
  • Evaluate alternative tools; provide simple ROI/feature comparisons when requested.

Training & Enablement

  • Run quick how-to sessions (Teams basics, file sharing etiquette, Outlook tips).
  • Create 1-page guides and 3–5-minute screen-capture tutorials for common tasks.

Required Skills & Experience
