Job Description


We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Project Manager with 10-12 years’ experience to manage IT projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are met.

The Infrastructure Project Manager will plan, execute, and deliver complex infrastructure projects such as data center migrations, cloud transformations, and network upgrades. Responsibilities include managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors, and ensuring timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

Requirements

  • Plan and Deliver Projects
    • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects (cloud migrations, data centre builds, upgrades, deployments).
    • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Engage with business leaders, customers, and global teams (Ireland, UK, India) to gather requirements and manage expectations.
    • Provide regular status updates, reports, and executive summaries.
  • Team & Vendor Coordination
    • Coordinate across cross-functional technical teams (network, cloud, operations, database, application).
    • Manage third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality delivery.
  • Governance & Risk Management
    • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies; develop mitigation plans and contingency strategies.
    • Ensure projects comply with security, audit, and regulatory standards.
  • Process & Methodology
    • Apply project management frameworks (Agile, PRINCE2, PMP) as appropriate.
    • Standardise project documentation, reporting, and governance in line with organisational practices.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Capture lessons learned and feed into best practices for future projects.
    • Champion efficiency, automation, and “shift-left” approaches within project delivery.

Qualifications


Essential experience & skills

  • 10 - 12 years’ experience in IT project management, with a focus on infrastructure delivery (data centre, cloud, servers, networks, storage).
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • A strong understanding of infrastructure domains such as networking, cloud, and virtualization, along with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, is essential.
  • Experience working in a global delivery model (collaborating across India, UK, Ireland, or other geographies).
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (able to present to both technical and non-technical audiences).
  • Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (change, incident, problem management) and their impact on project delivery.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Conflence, MS Project, Trello, or similar).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications (highly desirable)

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
  • ITIL Foundation or higher-level certification.
  • Agile/Scrum Master certification.
  • Cloud vendor certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Project Manager, or OCI Foundations/Architect.
  • Any relevant infrastructure technology certifications (VMware, Cisco, Microsoft).
