Job Purpose
To support the sales team by managing internal sales activities, coordinating with customers and external sales teams, preparing quotations and documentation, and ensuring smooth order processing to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Sales & Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers for enquiries, quotations, and order-related communication.
- Coordinate closely with external sales engineers/executives to support ongoing sales activities for achieving revenue growth.
- Prepare, process, and follow up on quotations, proposals, and price confirmations.
- Ensure accurate entry of sales orders into the system and track order status until delivery.
Customer Relationship Management
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries via email, phone, and CRM systems.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular follow-ups.
- Handle customer concerns and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.
- Support customer retention and upselling opportunities where applicable.
Sales Support & Documentation
- Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.
- Prepare sales reports, order summaries, and monthly performance updates.
- Ensure all sales documentation complies with company policies and approval processes.
- Assist in tender documentation, bid submissions, and contract coordination when required.
Order Processing & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with logistics, inventory, and accounts teams for order fulfillment.
- Monitor delivery schedules and inform customers of any changes or delays.
- Support invoicing and payment follow-ups in coordination with the finance team.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Follow company sales procedures, pricing guidelines, and approval hierarchies.
- Support continuous improvement of internal sales processes and customer service standards.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in Internal Sales / Inside Sales / Sales Coordination.
- Experience working with ERP/CRM systems is an advantage.
- Must have good communication and customer management skills.
